If your daily routine includes at-home yoga and workout classes, you’re not alone. But if you’re taking more classes at home, you may be skipping this one important step—wiping down your yoga mat! The build-up of sweat and bacteria isn’t our idea of a good time. To get your mat clean from the sweatiest of vinyasa seshs try this: Combine one part water and one part vinegar in a spray bottle, spray both sides of the mat until completely covered and wipe with a clean towel. As tempting as it is, avoid using soap so your mat doesn’t get slippery, a workout no-no. End with a spray of our Witch Hazel and Lavender Toner for a spa-like scent. Breathe in and relax.
