Honestly, we can all agree that we’re happy to see 2021, right? A new year brings about thoughts of new beginnings, starting over and plotting out the next 12 months. But if you’re a little gun shy about planning that far ahead (tbh, we get that) or you’re not even sure where to start; we’re here to give you a little motivation so you can start this year relaxed, recharged and in charge of your path!
As talked about in the Global Wellness Summit, home wellness is going to be a huge trend in 2021 and we couldn’t agree more! We believe that taking the time for yourself from mini-spa treatments, like a mud mask to a full day just for you is going to be one of the best ways to help de-stress and keep control of yourself and wellness in the new year.
Journaling. Even as a writer, the thought of keeping a daily journal can sound daunting. But, we have a simple trick that may help. One-line journaling is exactly what it sounds like. Each night before bed, write down one line, or one good thing that happened. We know from experience that even on the roughest days there is at least one bright spot. And trust us, at the end of the week, month, or year you’ll be amazed at how much good came into your life!
Resolutions: Yay or Nay
Although we’re firm believers in setting goals, we can also admit that having too many resolutions can be daunting, especially if you’re trying to do too much at once. If you’re trying to lose weight, set small goals—they’ll be attainable and sustainable. Same with hitting the gym, a small increase each day or week will most likely allow you to stick with your goals, instead of fizzling out after February.
