DIY Easter Basket

DIY Easter Basket

Easter is right around the corner, and to all who celebrate - we wish you a very Happy Easter!

There are DIY Easter baskets for all ages; here is a little guide we have put together for the “hoppiest” of DIY Easter ideas.

Upcycled Basket:

One of the most traditional and kid-friendly ideas is to paint an old egg carton and then fill it with treats. The individual egg cups are the perfect place to hide treats. To keep small items, such as loose jelly beans, secure place mini muffin liners in the carton, and decorate with food-safe or edible Easter grass!

Bunny Wrapping Paper:

If you want to add an added layer of surprise to your Easter treats, place them into a box and wrap the package with white, pastel, or your favorite spring wrapping paper and add a pretty bow.

But, for the ultimate bunny box, try this idea from Paperchase! They have a step-by-step guide on using Kraft paper to wrap a box, leaving room for big bunny ears, and finished with a cottontail—so cute!

The Traditional:

We love a big wicker basket filled with treats and treasure, probably because this is what the Easter Bunny would bring us each year growing up. You can keep it simple or add pom pom trim and paint to transform a traditional wicker basket into a colorful one. Why not add a few favorite Nardo’s Natural items, like lip balms, lotion, or makeup, for even more joy!

Bunny Bags:

We love this next idea, Easter bunny bags. It’s similar to the wrapping paper idea but even faster to make. Start with a recyclable paper bags, and cut out bunny ears at the top for a fun, 3D effect. Add details with markers, and then glue on a pom-pom tail. Fill the paper bag with goodies and treats, secure the bunny ears' base with a rubber band so the ears stay up, and the treats stay hidden, and you are set!

Even if you aren’t the craftiest, using silk flowers, glitter, bows, foam letters/stickers, etc., can turn a store-bought basket into a personalized masterpiece!

We hope you enjoyed these ideas!
